Setup and Maintenance
- Mount the manifold assembly under the sink and position the metal storage tank in an accessible location with the quick connect fittings facing the manifold.
- Connect the feed water line to the inlet using the included quick connect fittings, then attach the drain line and storage tank connections to the appropriate ports.
- Install all four KWIK CHANGE cartridges by aligning and twisting a quarter turn clockwise until they lock into place with the double o-ring seals.
- Open the feed water valve slowly and check all connections for leaks while the system pressurizes and begins filling the storage tank.
- Replace cartridges by turning a quarter turn counterclockwise to remove, then installing new filters with a quarter turn clockwise—no tools or sump wrenches required.
System Requirements
The Watts WQC4RO11-50MTNF is designed for residential point-of-use installation on municipal or well water supplies with TDS levels up to 2,000 PPM. The system requires inlet water pressure between 40 and 100 PSI for optimal performance. All KWIK CHANGE cartridges are proprietary to Watts systems and use quarter-turn installation without traditional filter sumps. The included metal storage tank provides more durability than standard composite tanks and works with any standard RO faucet with 1/4-inch tubing connections. This system is suitable for households with moderate water usage, producing approximately 50 gallons per day under standard conditions.
