The pleated design maximizes surface area while allowing you to visually inspect sediment accumulation and extend filter life through periodic cleaning. Works as a first-stage pre-filter to protect downstream carbon blocks, membranes, and equipment from clogging and premature wear.

💧 Clean the filter when flow rate drops noticeably or every 3-6 months under normal sediment loads. Use a soft brush and clean water to gently scrub between pleats, working from top to bottom to dislodge trapped particles without tearing the media.
