INSTALLATION & USE

Filter Replacement Procedure

  1. Shut off water supply and depressurize the housing by opening downstream faucet or pressing pressure release button if equipped
  2. Unscrew filter housing using a filter wrench, remove old cartridge, and clean housing sump with mild soap and water
  3. Insert new PureT GCB sediment filter, ensuring it seats properly on the center post, and lubricate o-ring with food-grade silicone
  4. Hand-tighten housing back onto cap until snug, restore water pressure slowly, and check for leaks before returning system to full service
