Hydrofit - HDF-MC Series - Polyacetal Male Connector / Adapter Fitting
Polyacetal Male Connector / Adapter Fitting
What Makes HDF-MC Connectors Different
Each male connector uses a stainless steel teeth collet that locks tubing in place when pushed to the stop. The polyacetal body is NSF-certified for potable water contact, and the Hydro Fin ergonomic grip makes threading into female ports easier without over-torquing. Nitrile O-rings seal against leaks at working pressures up to 150 PSI at room temperature, derating to 60 PSI at 140°F. Optional locking clips (HDF-LC, sold separately) prevent accidental disconnection in high-vibration or tamper-prone installations.

Tubing & Application Range
HDF-MC male connectors work with polyethylene (PE), nylon, braided reinforced hose (clamps recommended), copper, brass, and mild steel tubing in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" outer diameters. Common applications include reverse osmosis permeate and waste lines, refrigerator and coffee machine supply lines, RV and marine plumbing, misting and irrigation systems, and water cooler installations. Always cut tubing squarely and deburr before insertion to ensure the collet seats properly and the O-ring seals without leaks.
