The Hydronix SDC melt blown sediment filter fits all standard 20" x 2.5" housings and is designed for whole house filtration, well water pre-treatment, and reverse osmosis pre-filtration. The gradient density construction means tighter filtration layers toward the core and more open layers at the exterior, maximizing dirt-holding capacity while maintaining flow. Use the 20 micron for heavy sediment loads and well water, the 5 micron for municipal pre-filtration and general whole house use, and the 1 micron for final polishing before RO membranes or as post-filtration after GAC carbon stages. Compatible with Pentek, Culligan, GE, Omnifilter, and all standard 20" Big Blue housings.
