Unlike disposable sediment cartridges, the Hydronix SPC series can be washed and reused multiple times, reducing long-term replacement costs
Chemical Resistant
Polyester media with polypropylene core and vinyl plastisol end caps resist chemical and bacterial degradation in challenging water conditions
Wide Temp Range
Rated for continuous operation from 40°F to 125°F, suitable for cold well water and warm commercial applications
Universal Fit
Standard 20" x 4.5" dimensions fit most commercial and residential Big Blue filter housings without adapters
Fits standard 20" x 4.5" housings
The Hydronix SPC series fits all standard 20-inch Big Blue filter housings with 4.5" inner diameter, including Pentek, Pentair, Culligan, GE, Whirlpool, iSpring, and generic whole-house filter systems. Compatible with both residential whole-house systems and commercial applications requiring high-flow sediment reduction.
Wash and reuse, or replace when performance drops
Rinse and Reinstall
Remove cartridge and rinse thoroughly under running water to dislodge accumulated sediment. Allow to dry before reinstalling.
Replace Cartridge
Once flow rate drops or washing no longer restores performance, replace with a new Hydronix SPC cartridge. Actual lifespan depends on sediment load.

Removes sand, silt, rust, and sediment before they reach fixtures, appliances, and downstream filters
