Where This Filter Works

This 20" x 2.5" high temperature string wound cartridge fits standard whole-house and commercial filter housings designed for 20-inch cartridges. Common applications include well water sediment removal, pre-filtration for water heaters, commercial equipment protection, and industrial process water where elevated temperatures are present. The 5 micron rating captures fine sediment including sand, silt, rust, and scale particles while the stainless steel core prevents collapse under pressure or thermal stress. Compatible with both municipal and well water systems requiring high-temp filtration.

🔧 Pro Tip: When filtering water above 140°F, check your housing's temperature rating before installation. Standard polypropylene housings may not handle the heat this cartridge can withstand, potentially causing housing failure even while the filter performs correctly.
