Omnipure (L5305) 2.5" X 6" 5M SED; L-SERIES
Omnipure L5305 2.5" × 6" 5 Micron Sediment Cartridge
Meltblown polypropylene sediment filter designed for RO pre-filtration and whole-house applications requiring compact filtration in proprietary housings
Meltblown sediment removal for compact systems
Meltblown Polypropylene
Depth filtration media traps sediment throughout the entire cartridge structure, not just at the surface, for better dirt-holding capacity
5 Micron Reduction
Removes dirt, sand, silt, and sediment down to 5 microns, protecting downstream RO membranes and extending system life
Compact Form Factor
2.5" × 6" dimensions fit Omnipure proprietary housings used in under-sink RO systems and point-of-use whole-house applications
RO Pre-Filtration
Rated for 0.5 GPM flow at up to 125 PSI, ideal as first-stage protection for reverse osmosis membranes in residential systems
Fits Omnipure proprietary housings
The L5305 is designed for Omnipure L-Series housings with 2.5" × 6" cartridge dimensions. Commonly used in compact under-sink RO systems and whole-house filter assemblies that require proprietary Omnipure cartridges. Verify your housing accepts L-Series filters before ordering. Not compatible with standard 10" housings.
Replacement schedule for the L5305
Standard Replacement
Replace the Omnipure L5305 cartridge every 6 to 12 months depending on sediment load and water usage. Monitor pressure drop across the filter.
High Sediment Water
If your water source has high turbidity, sand, or visible sediment, replace the L5305 more frequently to maintain flow and protect downstream filters.
Pressure Drop Indicator
Replace immediately if you notice reduced flow rate or increased pressure differential, indicating the filter is loaded with sediment.
Drop-In Replacement
Direct replacement for Omnipure L5305 in compatible housings
Wide Temp Range
Operates reliably from 35°F to 100°F in residential systems
Membrane Protection
Extends RO membrane life by removing damaging particulates
Compact Design
Space-saving 2.5" × 6" size for tight installations
