- Insert the new Pentek CW-F cartridge into the housing, ensuring the center core is properly seated on the standpipe at the base.
- Lubricate the O-ring with clean silicone grease, thread the sump back onto the cap hand-tight, then restore water pressure and check for leaks.
- Run water for 2-3 minutes to flush any air and loose fibers from the new cartridge before regular use.
Works With Standard 10-Inch Housings
The Pentek CW-F fits all standard 10-inch filter housings designed for 2.5-inch diameter cartridges. It is compatible with whole house filtration systems, reverse osmosis pre-filtration stages, and point-of-use applications using municipal or well water. This filter is suitable for sediment reduction in residential, commercial, and light industrial water treatment installations. Replace every 3-6 months depending on sediment load and water quality.
