Procon - Rotary Vane Series 3 - Stainless Steel Pumps - Clamp On - 3/8" NPT
Procon Series 3 Technical Details
| Model Series | Procon Rotary Vane Series 3 |
| Construction | Stainless Steel (NSF Certified) |
| Flow Rate | 80 Gallons Per Hour (GPH) |
| Max Pressure | 200 PSI |
| Port Size | 3/8" NPT (Inlet & Outlet) |
| Mounting Style | Clamp-On |
| Pump Type | Rotary Vane, Positive Displacement |
| Certification | NSF Approved for Potable Water |
Mounting & Connection Steps
- Secure the pump using the clamp-on bracket to a stable, vibration-dampening surface. Ensure adequate clearance for motor ventilation and service access.
- Thread 3/8" NPT fittings into inlet and outlet ports with PTFE tape or thread sealant rated for potable water. Hand-tighten, then wrench an additional 1.5 turns.
- Prime the pump by filling the inlet side with water before startup to prevent dry running and seal damage. Confirm all air is purged from the pump head.
- Wire the motor according to voltage requirements on the nameplate. Install appropriate overload protection and ensure grounding meets local electrical codes.
- Start the pump and verify pressure gauge readings stabilize at system design pressure. Check all connections for leaks under full operating pressure before leaving unattended.
Application Fit
The Procon Series 3 Rotary Vane Pump is engineered for reverse osmosis systems, commercial water filtration setups, beverage dispensing equipment, and any application requiring consistent pressure delivery up to 200 PSI. The stainless steel wetted components resist corrosion from chlorinated water, purified water, and most common beverage concentrates. The 3/8" NPT ports integrate directly with standard plumbing fittings used in commercial RO installations. Clamp-on mounting simplifies replacement and serviceability compared to flange-mount designs. Ideal for operations requiring NSF-certified components and robust performance in continuous-duty cycles.
