Adding Alkaline Remineralization to Your RO System
- Install the ILMJ2512FCI-EZ inline after your RO membrane and post-carbon filter, before the faucet or storage tank outlet line.
- Connect the inlet side to your existing 1/4" tubing using the built-in quick connect fitting, ensuring water flows in the correct direction as marked on the filter housing.
- Connect the outlet side to your faucet line or dispensing point, hand-tightening the quick connect fittings until secure.
- Flush the filter for 5 minutes after installation to remove any loose mineral media and stabilize pH output.
- Replace the remineralization filter every 12 months or when you notice a decrease in pH enhancement.
