Installing Your Panel Mount Flow Meter
- Cut a mounting hole in your panel or enclosure according to the meter's diameter, then insert the meter from the front and secure with the included mounting nut from behind.
- Apply thread sealant tape or paste to both 1/2" MNPT inlet and outlet connections, then thread onto your system plumbing hand-tight plus one to two turns with a wrench.
- Mount the meter with the flow direction arrow pointing in the correct direction of water travel through your system.
- Open water flow slowly and observe the indicator to verify proper operation within the 0.5 to 5 GPM range.
- Check all threaded connections for leaks under full operating pressure before putting the system into regular service.
Applications for the PureT PMF-0505-PT
This flow meter works with reverse osmosis systems, water filtration panels, process water equipment, chemical dosing systems, and any water treatment application requiring visual flow monitoring in the 0.5 to 5 GPM range. The 1/2" MNPT connections match standard plumbing sizes used in residential and light commercial RO systems, making it a direct fit for most panel-mounted control setups. Compatible with potable water, RO permeate, DI water, and most non-corrosive process fluids within the specified pressure and temperature limits.
