Filling and Installation
- Unscrew both blue end caps from the cartridge body to access the internal chamber and sediment screen
- Fill the cartridge with your chosen media such as granular activated carbon, catalytic carbon, or specialty blends, leaving minimal headspace
- Replace both end caps and tighten securely to prevent media bypass or leakage during operation
- Install the filled cartridge into your 20" Big Blue housing with O-rings properly seated
- Flush the system for 3-5 minutes to remove carbon fines and activate the media bed
