The SharkBite PEX Barb Coupling provides a reliable, tool-free connection for PEX tubing in residential and commercial plumbing applications. Manufactured from lead-free dezincification-resistant (DZR) brass, this fitting meets current potable water standards and installs in seconds without soldering, clamps, or specialized tools.
Cut and Measure
Cut PEX tubing to length using a proper tubing cutter. Ensure ends are clean, square, and free from burrs or deformation.
Check Insertion Depth
Mark the tubing at the proper insertion depth according to the fitting size. Full insertion ensures proper seal and connection integrity.
Push and Secure
Push tubing firmly into the fitting until it reaches the internal tube stop. Use stainless steel clamps or copper crimp rings to secure the connection per manufacturer specifications.
