| Connection Type | Push-to-connect (both ends) |
| Compatible Pipe Types | PEX, Copper, CPVC, PE-RT |

How to Install
- Mark the pipe at the insertion depth shown on the connector body. Ensure pipe is cut square and deburred.
- Push the connector firmly onto the pipe until it reaches the depth mark. You'll feel resistance—keep pushing until fully seated.
- Rotate the connector body to align with the water heater inlet. The swivel design allows 360° positioning without disconnecting.
- Repeat for the second connection point. Check both ends for secure seating before pressurizing the line.
- To remove, use a SharkBite Disconnect Clip or Disconnect Tongs. Standard removal tools will not work with this connector design.
Approved Applications
This connector is approved for both electric and gas water heaters equipped with a flue vent. It works with all common residential plumbing pipe types including PEX, copper, CPVC, and PE-RT. The flexible braided construction compensates for minor misalignment between existing pipes and water heater inlets, reducing the need for additional fittings or custom angles. Ideal for retrofit installations, tight mechanical rooms, and situations where rigid connectors won't fit.
