How to Install the SharkBite U139LF

  1. Cut pipe square and deburr the end. Measure and mark insertion depth on pipe (refer to SharkBite depth chart).
  2. Push the pipe firmly into the push-fit end until it reaches the internal tube stop. No tools, solder, or glue required.
  3. Apply pipe thread sealant or Teflon tape to the 1" male threads and hand-tighten into the female threaded fitting or adapter.
  4. Pressurize the system and inspect for leaks. Use SharkBite disconnect clip or disconnect tongs to remove if needed.
