Gasket Replacement Procedure
- Depressurize the FOS filter housing completely and drain all liquid before disassembly.
- Remove the cap nut and inspect the sealing surfaces on both the cap nut and housing body for damage, scratches, or debris.
- Clean all mating surfaces thoroughly with a lint-free cloth, then position the new Shelco 2072-B gasket in the cap nut groove.
- Lubricate the gasket lightly with silicone or vegetable-based lubricant compatible with your process water, then hand-tighten the cap nut evenly.
- Pressurize the system gradually and inspect for leaks at the cap nut seal before returning to full operating pressure.
