30" x 2.5" Purtrex Series Spun Polypropylene Depth Sediment Filter
Graded density spun polypropylene sediment filter engineered for high-volume whole house and reverse osmosis applications. Available in 1, 3, 5, 10, 20, 30, and 50 micron ratings.
True depth filtration with high dirt-holding capacity
Graded Density Structure
Fibers are tighter near the core, looser at the surface. Larger particles get trapped in outer layers, finer sediment captured deeper inside. Prevents premature surface clogging and extends filter life.
Pure Polypropylene
100% polypropylene construction with no binders, adhesives, or surfactants. Won't leach chemicals or impart taste. Safe for potable water, food processing, and hydrocarbon applications.
High Void Volume
Engineered fiber matrix provides maximum dirt-holding capacity without restricting flow. Ideal for high sediment loads in well water, municipal pretreatment, and whole house filtration.

Replacement schedule by application
Whole House (Well Water)
Heavy sediment loads from well water require more frequent changes. Replace when pressure drop exceeds 15 PSI or flow diminishes noticeably.
Whole House (Municipal)
Municipal water typically has lower sediment. Monitor pressure gauge and replace when differential reaches 15 PSI or annually, whichever comes first.
RO Pretreatment
