Aries (AF-10-3001) 9.75"x3" Cation (Hydrogen Form) Mixed Bed DI Filter

Aries Filter Works

Aries AF-10-3001 9.75"x3" Cation (Hydrogen Form) Mixed Bed DI Filter

Nuclear-grade deionization cartridge for laboratory, pharmaceutical, and ultrapure water applications requiring near-zero TDS

Mixed Bed Resin Hydrogen Form Cation 10" Standard Housing
WHY IT WORKS

Ion Exchange at the Molecular Level

⚛️

Mixed Bed Technology

Blends cation and anion resins in hydrogen and hydroxide forms to remove dissolved ionic contaminants through simultaneous exchange reactions, achieving resistivity up to 18 megohms

🔬

Hydrogen Form Cation

Cation resin in hydrogen form exchanges sodium, calcium, magnesium, and other positive ions for hydrogen ions, eliminating mineral content before anion polishing

💧

TDS Reduction

Removes dissolved solids down to parts per billion for applications where conductivity, silica, and trace minerals interfere with analytical or manufacturing processes

📐

Standard 10" Footprint

9.75"x3" dimensions fit standard 10-inch filter housings with 20mm cap threads, allowing drop-in upgrades without new hardware or plumbing modifications

COMPATIBILITY

Fits Standard 10" Housings

The Aries AF-10-3001 installs in any 10-inch standard filter housing with 3-inch or greater diameter clearance. Compatible with housings from Pentek, Culligan, Omni, GE, Watts, and most residential or commercial brands using 20mm cap threads. Designed for post-RO polishing, laboratory DI loops, analytical rinse water, and ultrapure process applications.

MAINTENANCE

Replacement Schedule

Laboratory Use

Monitor TDS or Resistivity

Replace when effluent conductivity rises above acceptable threshold, typically 500-2000 gallons depending on feed water quality and required purity

Process Water

Based on Throughput

Service life varies with inlet TDS and flow rate. Track total gallons or install inline conductivity probe to detect resin exhaustion before product water quality degrades

Post-RO Polish

1000-3000 Gallons

When used as final polishing stage after reverse osmosis, expect extended capacity since feed water typically contains less than 20 ppm TDS

🧪

Ultrapure Output

Produces Type II laboratory water suitable for reagent preparation, glassware rinsing, and analytical instruments

🔄

Drop-In Replacement

Standard cartridge format installs without tools or modifications to existing 10-inch filter housings

🏭

Industrial Grade

Aries Filter Works manufactures resin cartridges for pharmaceutical, electronics, and precision manufacturing applications

📊

Predictable Performance

Consistent ion exchange capacity and regeneration curves allow accurate service life forecasting and inventory planning
