Aries - AF-10-3321 - 10" x 2.5" GAC with 1.5 lb. Phsophate Cartridge Filter; Scale Inhibitor
Aries AF-10-3321 Technical Details
| Manufacturer | Aries Filter Works |
| Model Number | AF-10-3321 |
| Dimensions | 10" x 2.5" |
| Phosphate Content | 1.5 lb (24 oz) slow-melt crystals |
| Maximum Capacity | 60,000 ppm |
| Service Flow Rate | 1.0 GPM |
| Media Type | GAC + loose fill phosphate |
| Application | Point-of-use, point-of-entry, whole house |
How to Install the AF-10-3321
- Turn off water supply and relieve pressure from the housing before removing the old cartridge.
- Insert the Aries AF-10-3321 into a standard 10" filter housing, ensuring the cartridge seats properly against the housing base.
- Hand-tighten the housing sump, turn on water supply, and check for leaks. Flush for 3-5 minutes to activate the phosphate crystals and remove carbon fines.
- Monitor filter performance and replace when scale protection diminishes or flow rate decreases significantly, typically every 6-12 months depending on water hardness.
Housing & System Compatibility
The AF-10-3321 fits all standard 10-inch filter housings with 2.5-inch inner diameter, including point-of-use under-sink systems, reverse osmosis pre-filtration stages, and whole-house filtration systems. Ideal for installations where both chemical contaminant removal and scale inhibition are needed, such as well water applications, hard water areas, or systems with iron and manganese issues. Use in cold water lines only with temperatures not exceeding 100°F.
