INSTALLATION & USE

Filter Replacement Process

  1. Shut off water supply and relieve system pressure by opening downstream faucet
  2. Remove housing using filter wrench, discard old cartridge, and clean housing interior with mild soap solution
  3. Install new KDF-55 cartridge, lubricate housing o-ring with food-grade silicone, and hand-tighten housing securely
  4. Turn on water supply slowly and inspect for leaks while system pressurizes
  5. Flush filter for 3-5 minutes to remove carbon fines and activate KDF media before use
