Pentek - PD-Series -10" x 2.5" Polydepth Sediment Filter
10" x 2.5" Polydepth Sediment Filter
Thermally bonded polypropylene microfiber cartridge with rigid core for high-efficiency sediment removal in residential and commercial applications
Thermal bonding prevents fiber migration and breakage
Thermally Bonded Construction
Polypropylene microfibers bonded without resins prevent brittleness and breakage common in older cartridge designs
Rigid Core Strength
Molded polypropylene center core resists collapse under pressure and extends service life in high-flow installations
Micro-Groove Surface
Unique grooved exterior increases filtration surface area for better dirt-holding capacity and longer intervals between changes
Thermal Resistance
Rated for 40°F to 175°F operation allows use in hot water lines and commercial beverage equipment without degradation
Chemical Compatibility
All-polypropylene construction resists bacterial growth and maintains performance across wide pH ranges without leaching taste or odor

Fits Standard 10-Inch Housings
The Pentek PD-934 series fits all standard 10-inch filter housings with 2.5-inch cartridge diameter, including whole house sediment filter systems, reverse osmosis pre-filter housings, and commercial filter banks. Compatible with Pentek, Pentair, Culligan, GE, Watts, and other manufacturers using industry-standard 10" x 2.5" cartridge sizes.
Replacement Schedule
Whole House Applications
Replace sediment cartridge every 3 to 6 months depending on water quality and household flow rate
RO Pre-Filtration
Change every 6 to 12 months when used as RO membrane protection in residential reverse osmosis systems
Pressure Drop Monitoring
Replace when inlet-to-outlet pressure differential increases by 10 psi or flow rate noticeably decreases
Universal Fit
Standard 10-inch sizing works in nearly all residential and light commercial filter housings
NSF Materials
Food-grade polypropylene safe for potable water and beverage applications without taste transfer
Cost Effective
Meltblown construction offers better value than string-wound or pleated alternatives for sediment removal
Recyclable
Single-material polypropylene construction simplifies disposal and recycling in areas with PP programs
