The Watts EC-25975-W empty refillable cartridge fits any standard 10-inch filter housing designed for 2.5-inch diameter cartridges. Compatible with housings from Pentek, Culligan, iSpring, GE, Whirlpool, and most other residential and light commercial brands. Fill with granular activated carbon (GAC), catalytic carbon, KDF-55, KDF-85, bone char, calcite, Centaur carbon, or custom media blends for well water, chloramine removal, fluoride reduction, pH adjustment, or specialty filtration needs.
Refill Schedule Depends on Media and Water Quality
GAC or Catalytic Carbon
Replace carbon media every 6-12 months depending on chlorine or chloramine levels. Clean cartridge shell and refill.
KDF Media
KDF-55 or KDF-85 lasts 12-24 months in most applications. Backwash or rinse media before refilling if reusing.
