| Active Membrane Area | 7 ft² (0.7 m²) |
| Salt Rejection | 99.5% stabilized |
| Test Conditions | 2000 ppm NaCl, 225 psig, 77°F, 5% recovery |
| Application | Tap water, small commercial systems |
| Flow Tolerance | ±20% per element |
Installing the TW30-2514 Membrane
- Flush your RO system housing with clean water and inspect the brine seal and O-rings for damage or debris before installation.
- Remove the protective packaging from the Filmtec TW30-2514 membrane and carefully insert it into the housing with the brine seal end facing the concentrate port.
- Hand-tighten the housing cap, connect feed and permeate lines, then pressurize slowly and check for leaks at all connection points.
- Flush the membrane for 30-60 minutes at operating pressure before putting the system into service, discarding initial permeate to remove preservatives.
System Requirements
The Filmtec TW30-2514 membrane fits standard 2.5" diameter housings designed for 14" residential or light commercial RO elements. This membrane is engineered specifically for municipal tap water applications and performs optimally at feed pressures around 225 psi with water temperatures between 40-100°F. Compatible with most commercial and high-capacity residential reverse osmosis systems from brands like AXEON, Pentair, Watts, and others using the 2514 form factor. For well water or high-sediment applications, install appropriate sediment and carbon pre-filtration to protect membrane integrity and maximize service life.
