Installing Your MatriKX CTO Plus Filter
- Shut off water supply and relieve pressure from your 10" standard filter housing by opening a downstream faucet or using the pressure release button if equipped.
- Unscrew the housing sump, remove the old filter cartridge, and clean the housing interior with mild soap and water. Inspect the O-ring for wear and replace if necessary.
- Insert the KX MatriKX CTO Plus filter (01-250-10-MATRIKX) into the housing, ensuring it seats properly. Hand-tighten the sump back onto the housing cap.
- Turn water supply back on slowly and check for leaks. Flush the filter by running water for 3-5 minutes to remove any carbon fines and activate the media.
