Myron L (CS51-PV) Conductivity Cell; 1-2" PVDF

Myron L

CS51-PV Conductivity Cell with 1/2" PVDF Connection

Dual O-ring protection and integral temperature compensation for continuous in-line water quality monitoring
316 Stainless Steel PVDF Construction 10 ft Leads 3/4" NPT
The Myron L CS51-PV conductivity cell uses a dual O-ring seal system where the first EPR O-ring handles direct process contact while the second maintains long-term sealing integrity free from chemical degradation. Wetted materials are limited to 316 stainless steel and Teflon for broad chemical compatibility in demanding water treatment applications.
HOW IT WORKS

Dual-Seal Protection for Continuous Monitoring

1
CONTACT

Primary EPR O-Ring Interface

First O-ring bears direct process exposure and chemical contact, protecting the secondary seal from degradation over time.

2
SEAL

Secondary O-Ring Backup

Second O-ring maintains reliable sealing in a protected environment, ensuring long-term integrity even in aggressive water chemistry.

3
MEASUREMENT

Conductivity Detection with ATC

316 stainless steel electrodes measure conductivity while integral temperature element provides automatic compensation for accurate readings across temperature fluctuations.

4
TRANSMISSION

10-Foot Lead Output

Standard 3-meter leads allow flexible installation distance between the CS51-PV cell and Myron L monitoring or control equipment.

COMPATIBILITY

Installation Configurations

The CS51-PV process connection uses a bored-through swage fitting with 3/4" NPT threads as standard. Install directly into a process line or tank wall for in-line monitoring, or reverse the fitting and connect to a standpipe for submersion configurations in open tanks or sumps. The 1/2" PVDF designation refers to the nominal pipe size compatibility. Wetted materials of 316 stainless steel and Teflon provide compatibility with most water treatment chemicals including chlorine, acids, and alkalis within standard concentration and temperature limits.
