The Omnipure Q5428 uses loose granular activated carbon to reduce chlorine taste and odor in residential and commercial water applications. The integrated T28 Twist Tap valve automatically shuts off water flow when the filter body is removed from the head, eliminating the need to close supply valves during changeouts. Rated for 1500 gallons or 1 year service life at 0.5 GPM flow rate.
