INSTALLATION & USE

Replacing Your Q5728 Filter

  1. Verify you have an existing Q-Series filter head with 1/4" Quick-Connect, 1/4" NPT female, or 3/8" NPT female fittings
  2. Turn off water supply if your head does not have the automatic Twist Tap valve system
  3. Twist the old filter body counterclockwise to remove it from the head assembly
  4. Align the new Q5728 filter body with the head and twist clockwise until securely locked
  5. Flush the new filter for 5 minutes before returning to service to remove carbon fines
