United Filters International 10" x 2.5" Depth String Wound Polypropylene Sediment Filter
10" x 2.5" Depth String Wound Polypropylene Sediment Filter
True depth filtration with high dirt holding capacity for demanding chemical and industrial applications. Manufactured using continuous wind process for superior one-piece construction.
Engineered for Chemical and Temperature Resistance
True Depth Filtration
Continuous wind process creates graduated density layers that trap sediment throughout the entire filter depth, not just on the surface. Maximizes dirt holding capacity and extends service life.
Extreme Chemical Compatibility
Polypropylene media and core handle concentrated acids, alkalis, strong oxidizing agents, and corrosive fluids. Available in FDA and non-FDA configurations for potable or industrial use.
Low Media Migration
One-piece construction with high-speed winding eliminates loose fibers and particle shedding. Critical for pre-membrane filtration and sensitive applications like photographic solutions.
Clean Disposal
Polypropylene incinerates to trace ash with excellent micro-organism resistance. Safe handling and disposal for industrial environments rated to 120°F maximum temperature.

This United Filters International cartridge fits any standard 10-inch filter housing designed for 2.5" diameter cartridges. Compatible with whole house systems, RO pre-filtration housings, and industrial filtration equipment. Cross-references FilterCor FCP100R10P and other standard 10" x 2.5" string wound sediment filters.
Replacement Schedule
Typical Replacement
Replace every 6 months under normal municipal water conditions. Heavy sediment loads, industrial applications, or high flow rates may require replacement every 3 months.
Pressure Drop Indicator
Replace filter when pressure drop across housing exceeds 10-15 PSI or when flow rate decreases noticeably. Pressure gauge on housing provides best monitoring.
Industrial Grade
Handles aggressive chemicals and high temperature applications to 120°F
Multiple Micron Options
Available in 13 micron ratings from 0.5 to 200 for precise filtration control
Universal Fit
Standard 10" x 2.5" size fits all compatible housings and systems
