This seawater membrane is engineered specifically for feedwater with TDS levels between 20,000 and 45,000 ppm and requires system operating pressure of 600–800 psi to achieve rated permeate flow. Compatible with commercial desalination systems using Dow Filmtec or equivalent 4040 seawater element configurations. Lower operating pressures may be used to reduce pump requirements and energy costs while accepting proportionally reduced flow rates.
