Hydronix - UDF-10 - 10" x 2.5" GAC Carbon Filter - Reverse Osmosis Water Filter
Hydronix UDF-10 10" x 2.5" GAC Carbon Filter
Granular activated carbon filtration for taste, odor, and chlorine removal in reverse osmosis and whole house systems
Granular activated carbon removes what you can taste and smell
Chlorine Reduction
GAC media adsorbs chlorine and chloramines that municipal water treatment leaves behind, protecting downstream membranes and improving taste
Organic Contaminant Capture
Porous carbon structure traps volatile organic compounds, industrial solvents, and pesticides through adsorption
Odor & Taste Control
Removes the musty, earthy, or chemical tastes and odors caused by organic matter, algae byproducts, and disinfection
Universal 10" Housing Fit
Standard 10 inch by 2.5 inch dimensions fit most residential RO systems and in-line filter housings with industry-standard sizing
Fits standard 10" x 2.5" filter housings
The Hydronix UDF-10 is compatible with most reverse osmosis systems and inline housings designed for 10 inch cartridges with 2.5 inch outer diameter. Works as a pre-filter in RO systems, post-filter for polishing, or standalone chlorine reduction stage. Verify housing inner diameter and cartridge length before ordering. Common applications include stage 2 or 3 in five-stage RO systems, whole house carbon filtration, and point-of-use drinking water systems.
Replacement schedule for optimal performance
Standard Replacement
Replace the UDF-10 GAC filter every six to twelve months depending on water quality and usage volume. Higher chlorine levels or sediment load will reduce service life.
Taste & Odor Return
If you notice chlorine taste or smell returning before the scheduled interval, replace the carbon filter immediately. Exhausted carbon no longer protects downstream components.
Use Sediment Pre-Filtration
Always install a sediment filter before the GAC stage to remove particulates. Sediment clogs carbon pores and dramatically reduces capacity and contact time.
Membrane Protection
Removes chlorine before it can damage thin-film RO membranes
Fast Installation
Drop-in replacement for standard 10" x 2.5" cartridge housings
PureT Quality
Manufactured to industry standards with consistent GAC media
Cost-Effective Filtration
Reliable carbon filtration at a competitive replacement cost
