INSTALLATION & USE

Replacing Your Culligan Pre-Filter

  1. Shut off water supply to your RO system and relieve pressure by opening the faucet until water stops flowing
  2. Unscrew the filter housing, remove the old cartridge, and clean the housing interior with warm water
  3. Insert the Filtrex FXCUL12CL2 cartridge with polypropylene end caps facing up and down, ensuring proper seating
  4. Replace the housing O-ring if worn, hand-tighten the housing back onto the cap, and slowly turn water supply back on
  5. Check for leaks and flush the system for 5 minutes to purge carbon fines and activate the filter media
