The Omnipure E5386 combines granular activated carbon filtration with 2 oz. of polyphosphate scale inhibitor in a compact 6" x 2.5" inline cartridge designed for point-of-use applications and RO pre-filtration. INSTALLATION & USE

Filter Installation Process

  1. Shut off water supply and relieve system pressure before removing the old cartridge
  2. Align the new E5386 cartridge with the filter housing and twist clockwise until the cartridge seats firmly into the cap
  3. Turn water supply back on slowly and check all connections for leaks
  4. Flush the filter for 3-5 minutes to remove carbon fines and activate the polyphosphate media
  5. Replace the cartridge every 6 months or after 1000 gallons, whichever comes first
