Omnipure - E5615 - 12" x 2.5" E-Series 1 Micron Carbon Block Filter - Lead & Cyst Reduction
Omnipure E5615 12" x 2.5" Lead & Cyst Reduction Filter
A 1 micron carbon block filter engineered for lead reduction, cyst removal, and comprehensive water treatment in residential and commercial applications
Four-layer defense against contaminants
Lead Reduction
Carbon block matrix with integrated polyphosphate reduces lead to EPA standards, protecting families from heavy metal exposure
Cyst Removal
1 micron absolute rating mechanically traps Cryptosporidium and Giardia cysts, providing biological protection at the point of use
Chlorine Adsorption
Dense carbon block removes chlorine taste and odor while maintaining a 0.5 GPM flow rate suitable for drinking water applications
Universal Cap Design
Fits all permanent Omnipure heads without adapters, making filter changes simple and reducing installation time
E5615 Technical Details
Works with Omnipure E-Series housings
The E5615 features a universal cap design compatible with all standard Omnipure permanent filter heads. This 12" x 2.5" cartridge fits inline systems, under-sink installations, and point-of-use applications where lead reduction and cyst removal are required. Commonly used in residential RO pre-filtration, refrigerator lines, and commercial drinking water stations.
Replacement schedule for the E5615
Standard Replacement
Replace cartridge at rated capacity for municipal water with typical chlorine and sediment levels
Time-Based Change
Even with low usage, carbon block filters should be changed twice yearly to prevent bacterial growth and maintain lead reduction capacity
Performance Indicators
Replace earlier if you notice reduced flow rate, return of chlorine taste or odor, or pressure drop across the filter
Family Protection
Certified lead and cyst reduction for safer drinking water
Better Taste
Removes chlorine and organic compounds that affect flavor
Quick Change
Universal cap design fits existing heads without modifications
High Capacity
2500 gallon rating provides extended service between changes
