- Flush the filter for 3-5 minutes to remove carbon fines and activate the media before normal use.
Applications & System Requirements
The Q5540 requires an existing Omnipure Q-Series head and works in ice makers, refrigerators, beverage equipment, drinking fountains, under-sink systems, and reverse osmosis pre- or post-filtration stages. The twist-off T40 design simplifies replacement in tight spaces without shutting off supply lines. This filter is ideal for municipal water applications where chlorine removal and taste improvement are priorities.
