INSTALLATION & USE

Replacement Procedure

  1. Turn off water supply and relieve system pressure by opening a downstream faucet
  2. Unscrew filter housing using a housing wrench and remove old cartridges
  3. Install Pentek P5 sediment cartridge in the first stage housing and MatriKX carbon block in the second stage
  4. Check and clean o-rings with food-grade silicone lubricant, then reassemble housings hand-tight
  5. Turn water supply back on slowly and flush both cartridges for 5 minutes before use
