PureT - HQCBC Series - 10" x 2.5" Coconut Carbon Block Filter
10" x 2.5" Coconut Carbon Block Filter
High-purity coconut shell activated carbon engineered for superior chlorine reduction and taste improvement in residential and commercial applications
Solid-block filtration without the problems of granular media
Coconut Shell Carbon
Acid-washed, high-purity coconut-based activated carbon provides superior adsorption capacity compared to coal-based alternatives
Uniform Block Structure
Solid media construction eliminates channeling, fluidizing, and carbon fines release common in GAC and PAC filters
High Chlorine Reduction
Engineered for point-of-use and RO pre-filtration where effective chlorine removal protects downstream membranes
Multi-Contaminant Removal
Reduces sediment, VOCs like chloroform, SOCs including pesticides and dioxins, plus taste and odor compounds
PureT HQCBC Construction

Where to use this filter
The PureT HQCBC Series fits standard 10" x 2.5" filter housings used in reverse osmosis systems, whole-house pre-filtration stages, under-sink POU systems, commercial food service equipment, and industrial water treatment applications. Compatible with most brands using the 10-inch standard cartridge format. Select micron rating based on your water quality and application: 10 micron for heavy sediment pre-filtration, 5 micron for general residential use, 1 micron for RO pre-filtration, or 0.5 micron for maximum particulate reduction.
Replacement schedule
Residential POU/RO
Replace every 6 months in typical household reverse osmosis or under-sink systems with municipal water supply
High-Volume or Heavy Chlorine
Shorten replacement interval for high-usage households, well water with sediment, or water with elevated chlorine levels
Whole-House Pre-Filtration
In whole-house applications with upstream sediment filtration, carbon blocks can last up to one year depending on water quality and flow volume
Great Dirt-Holding Capacity
Uniform pore structure provides extended service life without premature pressure drop
Reduced Carbon Fines
Solid block construction means no carbon dust in your filtered water or downstream equipment
Commercial & Industrial Grade
Suitable for residential, food service, commercial, and light industrial water treatment applications
