  2. Connect inlet and outlet plumbing to 2" NPT ports, ensuring proper orientation for upflow design (water enters bottom, exits top). Install drain line to 1" NPT bottom drain port.
  3. Insert appropriate Harmsco filter cartridge into housing, secure closure system using fail-safe locking mechanism, and verify EPDM rim gasket is properly seated.
  4. Slowly pressurize system to operating pressure (not exceeding 150 PSI), check all connections for leaks, and purge air through top vent before placing into service.
